104 matches. 16 host cities. Three countries. And kickoff times that jump around depending on where you sit.
The World Cup 2026 is the biggest tournament football has ever staged. Keeping track of every game by hand is a quick way to miss your team. Group fixtures overlap, the knockout dates shift, and a match that says 9 p.m. on one site says 3 p.m. on another.
This page fixes that. You get the full World Cup 2026 calendar: all 104 games with flags, dates and kickoff times, the 12 groups, and a one-tap file you can drop straight into Apple, Google or Outlook.
Add it once, and every match lands in your own calendar in your own timezone.
The short answer
The World Cup 2026 runs from Thursday, June 11 to Sunday, July 19, 2026. That's 39 days and 104 matches across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
It opens with Mexico against South Africa at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City and ends with the final at MetLife Stadium near New York. To follow all of it without the timezone headache, download the calendar file below and import it once. A subscribed version even updates itself as the knockout bracket fills in.
Download the World Cup 2026 calendar
Grab the whole schedule as a calendar file and add it to the app you already use.
The file holds all 104 fixtures with dates and kickoff times. You've got two ways to use it. Import it once for a fixed copy, or subscribe to the feed so the bracket updates itself as results come in. For a live tournament, I'd subscribe.
Apple Calendar (iPhone, iPad, Mac)
Tap the .ics file to open it, choose a calendar, and confirm. To subscribe on iPhone instead, open Settings, then Calendar, Accounts, Add Account, Other, Add Subscribed Calendar, and paste the feed URL.
Google Calendar
Google handles this on desktop, not in the phone app. Open calendar.google.com, click the plus next to "Other calendars," pick "From URL" for a live feed or "Import" for the one-time file, and add it. It then syncs down to your phone on its own.
Outlook
In Outlook on the web, open the calendar, click "Add calendar," then "Subscribe from web," and paste the feed URL. The desktop app uses "Add Calendar," then "From Internet."
Whichever app you pick, kickoff times convert to your local time on their own. No mental maths at midnight.

World Cup 2026 key dates and ISO weeks

| Round | Dates (2026) | ISO week |
|---|---|---|
| Group stage | June 11 to June 27 | 24 to 26 |
| Round of 32 | June 28 to July 3 | 26 to 27 |

A note for date nerds: 2026 is one of the rare 53-week years, so the longest World Cup ever sits inside an unusually long calendar year. The full 2026 week calendar shows where each round falls, and the week number calculator converts any single match date in seconds.
The 12 groups
Each group has four teams. The top two go through, plus the eight best third-placed teams.

Full match schedule, all 104 games
Every fixture is below with flags and kickoff times. All times are Eastern Time (ET), so download the calendar above to read them in your own timezone.
A few group games to circle early: Spain vs Cape Verde on June 15, France vs Senegal on June 16, and England vs Croatia on June 17, a rematch of their 2018 semi-final. Spain and Argentina are the two top seeds, and the bracket keeps them apart until the final.

Round of 32
Reading the knockout codes: 1A is the winner of Group A, 2B the runner-up of Group B, and a code like 3ABCDF a third-placed team from one of those groups. A slash code such as 2A/2B means the winner of the Round-of-32 tie between 2A and 2B. The real names fill in as results come through, which the subscribed feed does for you.

Why are there 104 games this time?
This is the first 48-team World Cup, up from 32 in 2022. More teams means more matches: 104 in total, against 64 four years ago.
The 48 teams are split into 12 groups of four. Each side plays three group games. The top two from every group advance, plus the eight best third-placed teams. That sends 32 teams into the knockout bracket through a brand-new Round of 32.
The third-place rule changes how you watch. A team can finish in the bottom half of its group, win once, and still go through. So nothing is settled until the final whistle of matchday 3. And the Round of 32 starts the day after the group stage ends, with no rest built in, so squad depth is going to matter.
